For Fans Of: Post Dallas Underoath, Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive, Emarosa
Verdict: The Sky Eats Airplane S/T needs to be heard. They blend synth and high energy instruments really intelligently and nothing sounds tacked on. The synth compliments the music as opposed to awkwardly shoehorning in some lame rave beats (Enter Shakari anyone?) and SEA create some really interesting atmospheric instrumental moments. Many bands have tried splicing together electronica and Post Hardcore/Emo, most have failed where few have succedded but count SEA in the latter. Feels as fresh as hearing Underoath's "They're only chasing saftey" for the first time.
